In 2009, Brighton Institute for Modern Music purchased a nearby building.
Originally built as Brunswick Town Hall, as the town of Brighton expanded westwards, it had had a chequered career, ending as Riley's Snooker Hall.
Although derelict for several years, it still held some of its former glory and deserved recording before the builders moved in and turned it into modern classrooms and rehearsal rooms.
